I get a faint clicking noise when im watching dvd's. This happens randomly and not very often. I have never heard these before though so im wondering what component would be causing these?
I am using a Panasonic DVD-RP91 hooked up to a B&K Ref 30 with an Outlaw 950 amp. I have the amp plugged into a separate surge protector. Any ideas? I have ruled out the tv because this never happens with just tv viewing.

My guess is that this is noise from the RP-91s drive mechanism.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was hoping this wasnt the case, because this noise really is bothersome to me. I am not listening at very high levels either.
I have all my equipment in an audio rack behind a glass door, but I still hear this noise. Has anyone else with a RP91 heard these noises while a movie is playing? (or is there any chance that it could be something else?)
Thanks,
Andy
