Cleaning My TV (1 Viewer)

I have a 30 inch direct view phillips high def tv. It is just a regular old tube tv. What is the best way to clean the screen? Should I just use glass cleaner and a paper towel or what?

glass cleaner sprayed onto a lint free cloth, not directly onto the glass (ever take a set apart that the owner cleaned by spraying not pretty)
