What an innovative programming strategy. Attempting to attract new viewers by adding old material recently or currently running on competing channels that has already been run into the ground....and calling it "comfort food". Hmmm...

Lots of people love comfort food TV. That's exactly why some of these shows are still shown so much. It's basic common sense. Most people have never even heard of U.S. Steel Hour. The fact that some of you are TV snobs does not detract from the legacy & quality of these shows.

Amazon ran Mash the complete series as a deal of the day for $60 a little while ago. I wish I could have picked it up.
