Here’s one from William Talman.

I remember that well before it aired, it got quite a lot of media hype, from both screen and print, warning it was the first of its kind, and warned it would be quite somber.
The premier showing date and time was frequently announced by all of the above.

Back to what this thread was made for (and I agree w/@The 1960's; that last thing I did was a bit of a stretch): PM Magazine, an '82 segment inside NBC's hit daily serial Another World (has great shots of the 1979 peacock, first without the N, on the front window of the NBC Studios in New York, and then on an NBC camera in the studio, this with the N, and with the NBC name in Serif Gothic)...
