Clint Walker Cheyenne PSA (1957)

This is a 1957 California traffic safety message designed to deter driving under the influence. The message is given by cowboy actor Clint Walker as he reminisces about the history of the Old West and uses one of his movies, “Cheyenne” as a backdrop for this tv spot. Cheyenne was a made for Television western series that was broadcast on ABC from 1955 to 1962 and ran a total of 108 episodes. Clint Walker played the character Cheyenne Bodie. His real name was Norman Eugene Walker, he was born May 30, 1927 and died 90 years later May 21, 2018. He was 6 foot 6 inches tall and had a rugged appearance that made him one of the toughest looking most handsome American actors of the era.

Four 16mm promos for the Merv Griffin Show for when the show was in New York City. Merv Griffin allowed his guests extended time for interviews. A guest may chat for 30 or 60 minutes, providing a conversation that was much more in-depth than was seen on other shows. He also was able to get guests that would rarely give interviews.

Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1968-1970)
NBC Week 60 sec TV Spot (Sept 1968) Becket 16mm HD Trailer

A 60 second TV commercial from NBC promoting their new season. This features the new show "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir". It also has "Becket" as the Saturday Night Movie of the week. Back when showing movies on TV was a much bigger deal than it is today. From my very red 16mm print.
