1984 ad for a Nabisco-sponsored sweepstakes wherein one could have won a trip to Hollywood (1 week there), $5,000 cash, and an appearance on NBC's daily serial Days of Our Lives, not to leave out having dinner with the cast members (was open of course to all those 18 or older at the time of this contest, outside of those who represented Nabisco, NBC, CPT, and other sponsors of the contest).

Full Interview with Cast of Batman (1966)

Produced in 1966, "Batman" had been originally envisioned as a launch for the beloved television show of the same name starring Adam West, Burt Ward and Cesar Romero. The film, however, was filmed between the first and second seasons of the television show - and had its premiere in Austin, Texas. Why Austin? According to sources, the "BatBoat" featured in the film was created by an Austin based company, Glastron, whose payment was in having the film premiere in their hometown. This film features local CBS affiliate's noontime host, Jean Boone, interviewing the cast - in town for the premiere. Ms. Boone speaks with Catwoman, Lee Meriwether; Joker, Cesar Romero; and Adam West, Batman himself. Apparently, Romero and Boone knew each other previously and reminisce on-air. A Word to the Wives is a 1955 sponsored comedy film directed by Norman Lloyd and starring Marsha Hunt and Darren McGavin. The film, now in the public domain, was sponsored by the American Gas Association, the National Association of Home Builders, and Woman's Home Companion magazine, and features products by Caloric, Whirlpool Corporation, Formica Corporation, Republic Steel Kitchens, and Ruud.

Housewife Jane Peters is envious of her friend Alice's new ranch house. At Alice's suggestion, she decides to trick her husband, George, into buying a new kitchen. Jane leaves her husband and son alone while she visits her mother in Cleveland. George is completely incompetent when trying to cook for himself and his son in their aging kitchen. After Jane returns, the Peters visit Alice and her husband and find out more about the modern conveniences in their new home. George then decides that his entire home needs replacing, and he arranges to buy a new home, complete with his wife's dream kitchen. (Wikipedia)
