Classic Simpsons Episode Last Night (1 Viewer)

With all the "Worst Episode Ever" threads, it's finally time to give credit where credit is due, and praise last night's Simpsons!

It was an episode full of heart filled humour, in jokes (Artie Ziff and the doll Homer plays with), irony, and spoof (the Nookie in the City spoof was spot on!)

While I think the whole season's been strong, this was an especially good episode.

Favorite line (paraphrasing):

"It's like being married to my best friend, and he let's me feel his boobs!"

Gotta say I laughed more than usual during last night's episode. The line you quoted had me laughing out.

Um...hey, anybody else notice the relationship between Lenny and Carl is taking on a special tone lately? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The "best friend" quote had both my wife and I rolling This episode was loaded with great one liners. Unfortunately I missed the first eight minutes. I MUST get TIVO!

BTW, very good episode. In the classic Simpson's tradition.
