Apparently, the current "RHI" is the component of Hallmark that owns the Hal Roach catalog. If you look at the rear cover of The First Kings of Comedy DVD (double feature of the Robert Youngson silent comedy compilations: When Comedy Was King and The Golden Age of Comedy), it has RHI's logo on the back. It also has distribution by Genius Entertainment.

From the Monsterkid.com forums comes this word from Mike Schleslinger who acts as a consultant to Sony:



It's somewhat disappointing that this won't be a chronological release of the entire series but perhaps if this does well, the rest will follow. If Sony is ever going to start releasing some of their other Columbia series this needs to sell well.
