Here's a sample of a list of classic movies that are either unreleased or deserve a new treatment. Feel free to add to it.

Looks like Universal is going to beat Warners to the punch on this one with a UK R2 release. A 17 minute interview with Bill Krohn (writer/director of It's All True), titled An Unfinished Masterpiece has just been passed at the BBFC.

There's a french release of LETTER FROM AN UNKNOWN WOMAN that looks very good.

From the top of my head:

A restored version of Billy Wilder's SABRINA (Paramount) wouldn't be bad, nor official releases for PD titles like PENNY SERENADE or SANTA FE TRAIL.

    As for unreleased films:

Most WB Bette Davis' films including JEZEBEL, THE OLD MAID and OLD ACQUAINTANCE (all WB)

Minnelli's melodramas, including TEA AND SYMPATHY (mostly WB)

the remaining MGM Hepburn/Tracy films including KEEPER OF THE FLAME (WB)

    THE MATING SEASON (Fox)

THE MODEL AND THE MARRIAGE BROKER (Fox)

Billy Wilder's THE MAJOR AND THE MINOR, FIVE GRAVES TO CAIRO and A FOREIGN AFFAIR (Universal)
