Two of my favorite film noir's are showing tomorrow as well as another film favorite is on today.

• "Suspicion" Saturday evening - TCM @ 6:00 p.m. ET
• "Point Blank" (LBX) Sunday morning - TCM @ 3:00 a.m. ET
• "Road House" (1948) Sunday evening - FMC @ 8:00 p.m. ET

SUSPICION (RKO/Warner dungeon) is a great overlooked Hitchcock classic.
The John Boorman/Lee Marvin noir classic POINT BLANK (Warner Dungeon) is another must see for any film buff. Recently remade as the Mel Gibson action/comedy PAYBACK.
I'll have to check out ROAD HOUSE. I guess my film noir exposure is a little lacking. :b

nope TMC is the movie channel TCM is turner movie classics. tcm is showing point bllank tonight at 2 eastern or 3 after the time change.

well i was profetic and did mess up my copying of point blank. i only got the first hour and the vcr shut off at that point.

We watched High Noon (1952) last night on TCM. It was part of their "Essentials" (for classic movie fans) series that airs Sunday nights at 6:00pm ET. The series is hosted by Rob Reiner, who talks a few minutes at the beginning and at the end of each movie.
Paper Moon is on tap as next week's "essential".

I'd also like to metnion that TCM is airing a letterboxed Solaris (1972) late Friday night at 2am. Knowing Steven Soderbergh is remaking this with Goerge Clooney, I'm looking forward to seeing the original.
