I celebrate both..
Time to break out the pole!
I have some problems with you people!!!
Festivus for the rest of us!
Generally, I prefer Festivus at our house, at least until we come to the Feats of Strength. Last time, the big metal pole had to be removed by EMTs, and that was kind of embarassing...
Who did you guys face-off last year in the feats of strength?
I really liked the episode, but always wondered about the homosexual undertones, not that there's anything wrong with that. The breaking out of the pole, the feats of strength, the rest of us, and Matt, man getting a pole shoved up your arse must suck.
I always loved the Soup Nazi... NO SOUP FOR YOU!.
I always make sure to give generously to The Human Fund every Festivus!
Last year, I gave a great amount of money to the Human Fund
I want to visit Vandalay Industries.
You guys need to come to my neighborhood in October. Our neighborhood block party has been called Festivus for many, many Pre-Seinfeld years. Thankfully Jerry and the gang have not had any impact on the event. Maybe I should steal the advertising signs and sell them on ebay?
I would buy one!!!!
BTW: Anyone try Ben & Jerry's new FESTIVUS Ice Cream yet? It is AWESOME!
Maybe I live too far out in the sticks, but what is Festivus?:b
George: It's a donation to The Human Fund.
Mr. Krueger: Whatever.
Frank Costanza: As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.
Festivus is the way to go. Just make sure you have good lighting when you bring your girlfriend to the Festivus dinner.
What the hell is Festivus?!
Your really should watch the Seinfeld episode before reading this, but you won't.
My favorite part of festivus is the airing of grievances.
Christ, I feel left out. I loathe "Seinfeld"...both the show and the man. They're flippant, uncaring, ironic, insincere...
Everyone else on the board: AND THAT'S WHY WE LOVE THEM!
Don't F-ing remind me.

If you hate the show so much, why do you feel left out??
I actually prefer Xmas myself.
If I hate the show, why do I feel left out?
Good question, and my answer is...I blame it on bemusement and sadness. Every man, woman and child I've come across has praised "Seinfeld" as a great, almighty comedy...They've treated it like God's word. To be the only person not cracking a smile when somebody says "Not that there's anything wrong with that", or feeling like you're the only person who knows that "Yadda Yadda Yadda" was in use well before the episode it was supposedly popularized in...Well, you'd feel left out, too.
