Does this come in Widescreen? I want to buy this and A Christmas Story. But as all of you know they have a sale on these and a few other holiday movies. But, most if not all of these are in fool screen :^(. Atleast from what I've seen. I know A Christmas Story doesn't come in wide but does Christmas Vacation atleast?

Sadly not. We've asked for a widescreen release until we were blue in the face, but I guess they just don't care enough. Maybe when we get to HD-DVD sometime down the road.

Ah...cool. This is actually my second year up here. The dorms are pretty decent. Kinda boring, sometimes...but otherwise pretty cool.

There are lots of girls, but yet I still remain single...it's a mystery!

I know whatcha mean. But single is fun when your in the dorms anyway. I just moved(well, like a year ago) from a house on 7th Ave. Used to have a bunch of party's. That was a blast. Glad I wasn't involved with a girl then if you know what I mean[IMG]

Cool, Nate... Hey, "Xmas story" is actually on TBS at this moment. "Dinner and a movie...". Looks grainy, a bit soft... anyone with the DVD wanna compare the b'cast quality to the disc?

What I'm wondering is, did NL European Vacation(16x9) sell well enough to convince WB to reissue the other vacation in 16x9?
We need NL Christmas Vacation 16x9 by next X-mas
    on the other note...
reading this thread, it sounds like they need to make a movie called National Lampoon's Dorm Life

"Christmas Vacation" is one of a few movies that has a noticably better transfer on laserdisc than on DVD. I sold my DVD copy. Just a bit of "technical" trivia. Anyone else notice that???????
