Well, not really Christmas related, but no holiday season is complete without:
Jack Frost (the 1997 one, not the 1998)
    and
Jack Frost 2: Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman

Why did they only get the 2nd one? It's the most worthless sequel ever made as half the movie is clips from the first one. I'd like to see the TV commercials for the first one that scarred kids for life too [IMG]

    BLACK CHRISTMAS!!!!
This masterpiece is one of my top five favorite films of all time, and is easily the best Christmas film ever IMO! Check it out immediately! Blows the great (but not as good) HALLOWEEN away!

Don't forget the EC Comics psycho Santa story that was filmed twice: once in the TALES FROM THE CRYPT movie and again on the TV Series.

For all those R2-capable folks out there, I can only give my highest possible recommendation for the BFI's recent discs of A Warning to the Curious and The Signalman, which were originally directed by Lawrence Gordon Clark as part of the BBC's A Ghost Story for Christmas line, and are among the eeriest, most atmospheric and wonderfully scary horror productions I've ever seen.

The transfers themselves are none too wonderful - fairly soft and muddy, but since these were shot on 16mm around 30 years ago (with tiny budgets of around £10,000 each), I can't imagine them looking much better (which is a real pity). The sound is fine, and extras include biographies and audio readings of both the original short stories.
