Oh believe me , I do. Next year holds no special power and promises nothing different. What I really meant by that statement is the "season of suffering " that has been upon us since 2020 or so."

I think I had that figured. I was just thinking back to how often I've said things similar to that, and how such a seemingly frivolous meme begins to sound more like a death wish now that I'm in my 70's.

This was a bolt out of the blue. I have always preferred her vocals and style over Stevie's. She exuded grace and class at all times. RIP
Yes - heartbroken - check out one of her last songs from 2017s Buckingham McVie boy she could ROCK!

If you aren't already familiar with them, I'd recommend the three albums that directly preceded Stevie Nicks, and which are relatively neglected in the band's catalog: I have highlighted the song from each that I feel contains the finest McVie vocal. She does other songs on these as well. Bob Welch was still in the band for all three, then left in 1975, when Nicks and Buckingham joined.

Penguin (1973 -- "Remember Me")

Mystery To Me (also 1973 -- "Why")

Heroes Are Hard To Find (1974 -- "Prove Your Love")

BUT THIS IS THE MAC!

She sung a lot about love ===== Love Shines, You Make Loving Fun, Say You Love Me, can't go wrong with great songs like that - when the group recorded Say You WIll in the early 2000s McVie didnt want to tour she wanted to record and the band turned down but she did some vocals but this song "Say You Will" reminds me of Christine
