Brad here. It's been announced over on Kelli Maroney's (and Jim Wynorski's) Facebook page that Chopping Mall (1986) will be released by Lionsgate onto Blu-ray sometime in Fall 2016, possibly September.

This mid-80s horror classic featured our lovely actress Kelli Maroney whom we had previously seen as that smokin-hot cheerleader in Fast Times At Ridgemont High (1982) and that MAC-10 toting femme fatale cheerleader in the 80s end-of-the-world, zombie-laded themed Night Of The Comet (1984) co-starring with Catherine Mary Stewart and a actor quite familiar to Star Trek fans, Robert Beltran (Commander Chakotay in Star Trek: Voyager). It was produced by Julie Corman, wife of well known cult filmmaker Roger Corman.

I'll have more info later but Kelli is still quite active in the filmmaking community today. Check out her public FB page, Actress Kelli Maroney.

This scene in FTARH gave me (the young U.S. Marine) heart stoppage at the Springfield Mall Theaters in 1982

Such a fun movie. It's not Art, mind you, but sometimes you need some exploding heads and a Killbot after a long day.
