Choosing wallpaper... (1 Viewer)

I know this question is nuts, but how do I get a black wallpaper for Windows ME?

The easiest way is to go into Microsoft Paint (type mspaint at the Run box). Once in MS Paint, just make an all black image. Save this image somewhere on your harddrive. Now go into Display Properties--->Desktop and 'browse' for where you saved the all black image. Then select 'stretch' from the position drop down box.
Now you should have an all black wallpaper.

Or, just change Background to "None", go to the appearance tab, "Desktop" will already be selected, and just change the color to black. All black desktop, no picture.

Yeah, Rob's way is the easist.. just turn off the wallpaper, and choose the background as black

When I turn off the wallpaper it just gets blue instead.
I cant choose the color I want..

After choosing none, go under the Appearance tab and choose black under the Item menu. Make sure Desktop is selected there.
