"CHiPS" is still popular today, just by the fact how well the reunion movie did in 1998 ratings-wise. What is holding up the release of this series on DVD??

Is there any inside information I have missed?

Nope. I'm waiting impatiently for CHiPs, so I would have seen any news about it. Nothing so far.
