    I posted this on another forum, but I'd like to get some further input on this question.

    I was just wondering about the grainy look of the Chicago DVD. I actually like it and think it gives the film a authentic look. But I was just wondering if it looked that way in the theatres? In other words is the DVD meant to have a "grainy" look?

    If I remember correctly, it had the same look in the theaters.
