The cruise by riverboat is especially recommended. There's also the combined river/lake sightseeing cruises that dock at Michigan Avenue on the Chicago River.

That tour is really good. Everytime I go back to chicago I forget to bring my digital camera. Its got one of the best skylines anywhere.

As far as pizza. Geno's East is good, Lou Malnotis is good. There are great italian restaurants like Tuffanos (spelling might be off) and Rosebud.
