is this some sort of deception or a Decepticon, Paramount rises from the ashes long held by this forum , as the company that no longer was releasing catalogue titles. And pulls not one but two Cheech and Chong movies out of the back catalogue for release. So it would appear that the WB distribution deal has run its course. My hope is that someone with an understanding of the film library and Home entertainment market finally start discussing all the wonderful releases that have yet to show up on the North American shore, and this will lead to many long requested title finally being made available. Take your pick, Elizabeth Taylor, Danny Kaye, George Pal, do i really need to put titles to the films out there. So many great titles, that deserve consideration.

oh , by the way, Dave's not here man, Preordered

Cheech & Chong's filmography, in terms of who owns what, is complicated. If I may:
Up in Smoke [1978] Paramount
Cheech & Chong's Next Movie [1980] Universal
Nice Dreams [1981] Columbia/Sony
Things are Tough All Over [1982] Columbia/Sony
Still Smokin' [1983] Paramount
Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers [1984] Orion/MGM
There's no indication of any ancillary rights belonging to Universal on Still Smokin', but amazon indicates this is coming from Paramount, so maybe a 35th(?) Anniversary edition?

That deal has been over for a while - January 2017, I believe.
Yes Brandon,
I am well aware that that deal has been over for almost a year but it's taken a year for the mountain to finally move on something other than a Transformers movie that was my poke at them. I'm hoping that this means that we will see more catalog titles finally coming from Paramount

They did release Juice (1992) in June 2017. ;)
