    I've got one of the Japanese L.E.s, the Euro-Blue Automobile version. Sure I could have saved a few hundred bucks, but there's a certain "cool" factor I like.

    Now, if it ever just breaks down, that would be depressing.

    Actually, I think the Euro-Color versions came out in 2001. The Midnight Blue/Black in summer 2002. The Gundam Gold version last summer. Gran Turismo white came out around Christmas last year. Plus, there were the 3 pastel colored versions that were released last spring.

    Sony's been doing this for a while now. And why I remember all this is a tad scary.

    Is sony ever planning on releasing the PsX models (the ones with the HDD recorder) in North America?
