The one spec that worries me slightly is the contrast ratio of 280:1 which is on the low side. The projector itself is bright but this may yield greys rather than blacks. I also notice that for HT use, you are limited to using s-video as there is no component. It is accomodated for computer use, which may not be a bad thing if you combine it with a nice HTPC.
For $2699 you can get the Plus Piano HE-3100 which has not only the component inputs, but also a very competent line doubler. Excellent contrast ratio, but a little on the low side for pure light power. If you can control the light in your room though, you can get a much better image than any business oriented presentation projector.
