So you can take the discs out if they're stored in with the art. Very nice. I forgot to ask Rick this when he was explaining that he was working on these frames. And at $15, that's not bad at all. And since most all of my LDs have original poster art, this would be a cheap way to decorate and get even more use out of my LD's.
    Thanks for the pic Gregg.

    Gregg,
Did you have 2 copies of each LD, or did you have to cut the covers in half?

    Hi Todd!!
Thanks for the kind words about my home. The part I like best is that it is only a .9 mile drive to work. Sometimes I even walk. Ive only put 5000 miles on my Jeep in the past year.
Land is very cheap up this way as not a lot of economic boom. I am on 7 acres and my mortgage payment is less than $1200 monthly. Its easy to live large up here [IMG]

    Gregg,
    Lets compare;
I live on a 75' x 150' lot on the water, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, attached 2 car garage, stand alone 1 car garage, 40' x 12' boat house w/2 boat hoists, enclosed sun (read; w/ac) room.
The bottom line; I have 8 yrs left on a 15 yr loan, our montly is almost identical!
So maybe you can get my cardio rn wife a gig there [IMG]
But again, your place is very nice [IMG]

    Hey Gregg,
Not sure if anyone has told you, but the link to your home theater pictures on the bottom of your sonotube page is pointing to someone else's hometheater page. Unless you have a double identity thing going? [IMG]
I love the frames by the way!! I may have to pick me up some. It is definetly a great way to display old LD's.

Jesse, too weird, dont know why the link is wrong?? Ill fix it Monday when I am back on my T1.
Todd, I think it would be hard to do a direct comparison, seeing as you have water front property. I know that I cant afford any waterfront property around here (with a home that isnt a double wide [IMG] ).

Does the frame cut off much of the edges of the Discs???
And is that clear cover plastic, and can you remove it if you wish???

Those are pretty slick. I actually bought a spare set of the original Star Wars LDs to use as a display. These frames are great, but I was thinking of a glass sandwich of some sort that also shows the interior photo spread.

I've been doing this for a while. I like the frames from Restoration Hardware, if there is one near you. $15 for 2 frames and they have a glass pane instead of plastic.
