Cheapest 1080p Projector?? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, I just spent about 30 minutes reading posts on 1080P and if it is worth it to wait, or just buy a 1080i 720p device now and enjoy it while you can.
Well, I am buying a xbox360 and ps3 as soon as they are released, and have heard rumors that both will be able to display 1080p signal!! Which would be great.
So I have talked my self into buying a 1080p projector, but the cheapest one I can find it $10,000 from sony. I would like to stay in the 5-6k range if possible.
Any suggestions on the cheapest 1080p projector available or rumors on new ones comming out soon. I always check projectorcentral,and they have great info, but again nothing under 10k that I can find.

CRT projectors! THat's my only guess for the cheapest and best way to get a 1080p signal on these guys for cheapest amount, and... 12,000+:1 contrast ratio- can't get any better than that.

Personally, I'm getting a cheap LCD 720p Front Projector (Sanyo Z3) now and a 1080p in about 3 years from now when they are really good ones for under $3k.

No sense missing out on the amazing 720 fun that the x360 is gonna throw down...
