I've been looking at prices for the stuff I'm going to get at etronics. they are as follows:
    JBL NSPII package-269.99
    JBL N28II-174.99
    JBL N24IIAW(for outside)-119.99
    Yamaha RX-V1300-554.99
    for a total of-1,118.97
    after shipping~$1170

Is there a place where I can get all that stuff for a much cheaper price? I know this is a pretty good price, I was just wondering if there was cheaper. thanks

One thing to keep in mind: There is no reason to pay more for the JBL Series II speakers if the series one is still available for less $$. They are exactly the same. There are minor cosmetic differences such as driver color, and the ports were redesigned to satisfy a settlement w/ bose in a patent lawsuit. Those are the only differences.

The JBLs can be had cheaper from other vendors. Do a search at shopping.yahoo.com. This is the best way to find the bestprice on each component.

    Hope this helps.

Personally I feel like you're a little unbalanced as far as $$ allocation. You're spending about double on the sub what you are for 5 speakers. I would think about maybe Studio series for the front 3 and drop to a 25-31 PCi or something.

    Try E-Bay,

    I saw the following:

    NSP1 - 160.00
    N28's - $99.00 a pair.

These are the first Series. Apparently there is only a minor difference between the two.

ebay is good. last year I bought my nsp-1 set (4 surrounds and a center) for $210.00 shipped and a really nice/free surge protector!

I got my pb-12 sub for $220.00 shipped

nsp-1 set for $160 would be nice!
