I have like 4 months left on my contract, but the phone is going

The keypad is problematic at best, the end key no longer functions, and the power and talk buttons are becoming iffy. I need a new phone for Sprint PCS, and I'd like to spend as little as possible. Any suggestions?

Call Sprint's customer service and ask for a replacement phone. If they will not give you one, tell them you will be cancelling your service when the contract expires in 4 months.

I threatened to cancel my wife's Sprint account when her phone died and they would not replace it. They quickly agreed to a replacement phone at no cost. Considering how many phones they give away for free to new customers, I do not think it's unreasonable to expect the same service as a longtime Sprint customer.
