I am seriously considering the Outlaw 950 (to replace my 1050) and am looking for reccomendations of 5 channel amps. 65-100wpc would be adequate for my needs and I would like to keep the price under $500, if possible The Rotel RMB-1066 looks like it might fit the bill, but I was wondering what other amps I should consider (new and used).

The Sherwood Newcastle AM9080 can often be found for around 4 bills... Its 120W per/ch

i think the parasound hca-855a goes for $500-$600 in the ebay market. don't know about b&m though.

I picked up a Sherwood AM 9080 which is 120wpc from UBid.com for 349.00 brand new. I haven't seen any more lately though.

Well I just sold my sherwood 9080 yesterday on ebay for 385.00:frowning:
The best places I have found are audiogon.com and if you keep checking ebay for the NEWLY listed amps, you can get lucky and get a steal with the BUT IT NOW price..hope this helps
