When my new mains are done they will be 7.5' Tall.... I
don't think anything short of ML's or similar Planars or
Lines will compare :)

Not in my house cherry or not!
And yes I've heard many CV's and on decent equipment.

BUT, a CV weekend speaker rental for the yearly summer beer & barbacue block party bash, that could happen..

Cerwins are primarily used for 2 purposes to me:
Parties: Where SQ Isn't needed/wanted/cared about
College Students for the above same purpose

I bought them when... I was in college and to be honest I bought them before I knew what I liked. They are at best a stepping stone.

They are not for critical listening. Listen to other speakers such as B&W(which I don't like to a degree) and the subtleties of music come out. The other speakers aren't bassy to the point where the midrange is drowned out and the treble is washed out completely. These are the primary issues with CV.

I can't wait to get rid of them in a few months.
