I order the home theater 4.0 package over 6 weeks ago and the still have not shipped and Norh cannot tell me when they will. Is this customary or does anyone know what's going on?
Yeah, there is no production line from what I understand, just a bunch of different factories that have people hand crafting these things. The only notifications I received were when the speakers were about a week away from shipping. I think they ship them in batches, so if you "miss" a batch when you place your order, you have to wait until the next batch is ready to go before you get your notification. If it were a more modern, assembly line type of production, then they could probably tell you that you are x days away from getting your stuff, but with everything being hand built, I imagine it is next to impossible to make predictions. . . .
Did you happen to order black ceramic? I spoke with Namphung (via e-mail) and she told me that they were having trouble with the kiln. Also, she said they were having "quality control issues" with the black ceramic color. Still not fixed? I wonder how long it will be?
