Center Speaker placement (1 Viewer)

In the process of constructing my HT and wanted to know if anyone has placed the center speaker above the screen other than under the screen and what if any difference it made. I'm going to try and rise my two floor speakers up and as close to the screen as possible so if I were to put the center channel under the screen it would actualy be in the middle of the two speakers.. thats why I was asking about raising it above the screen. Thanks

Not a bad idea if you have the room. as long as you can point it tword the primary listening area. You will avoid the front row blocking out some of the sound this way. (if you have 2 rows of seating...
I would have done it, but my center is just too large to place above the screen.
Behind the screen is ideal if you have one of those nice sound permiable screens...
