Center channel speaker brands (1 Viewer)

I guess I'm ready to toss aside my (very) cheap center channel speaker and hook up something with more substance.

I don't want to spend a ton - and I'm no audiophile by any stretch - so I just want something that sounds solid but won't require re-financing my mortgage.

I'm leaning toward an Infinity product, such as this .

Well what are your mains? Try to match the mains with whatever the manufacturer suggests if you can.. or something close to it.

Get the second one if you go with Infinity, but like the previous poster said, what brand are your mains?

Well not every time the center from same man. match the mains. I tried many center to match my Infinity RS8 mains and the closest I got after (infinity CC-1, Bose VCS-10, Boston Accustic CR-1, Energy XL150) was the BIC America with mod. X-overs. the best way is to try and see what will match.

Example which not matching can be Athena center and Athena mains
