I just picked up my Paradigm CC-370 and I wanted to test it out. I have not yet gotten the cable for it and don't really want to fish around behind my receiver until I do, so can I test it out using the a L/R feed from the receiver? I'm not critically listening, just making sure the drivers aren't panging around and the tweeter isn't fried... I'm assuming it'll be OK, but I wanted to ask first, just in case.

I wouldn't see why not. Many matched systems use the same drivers for the center vs. the mains, so I wouldn't see why you couldn't test by hooking up to an L/R main. In most cases a surround receiver should give equal power to each channel, so there should be no difference.
