Where should I place my Center Channel with a Front Projector? My ceiling height is only 7 feet?

Currently I have a Bose Center Channel that I use to have on top of my TV Set. Should I look for an angled one (like a stage monitor) and put it on the floor???

    Feedback please!

    Tony

    Thanks

Below the image area. Wood Technology makes stands with a slight upward angle for this purpose.

I have mine below my screen because my screen is all the way up to ceiling. My ceiling height is 6'8". It sits on a wall mounted shelf tilted slightly upward.

There are some screens that are perforated to allow audio to pass through, if that is an idea that interests you.

Perf is a solution, although sometimes you get interactions between the screen holes and the projectors pixels aka "moire". The easiest/cheapest solution is a floor mounted centre channel speaker, perhaps on a low stand and angled upward slghtly to aim the speaker towards the listener(s) ear level.
