I'm seriously thinking about getting the PSB Image series of speakers, with a 9C, 5T and 2B setup. An interesting thing happened when I talked about this arrangement with a saleman when we discussed the center-rear speaker (6.1 ch rx-v2200 yamaha reciever).

He said I should indeed get the 2Bs for the back corners, and instead of the 2B I was planning on getting for the rear, I should get another 9C center channel.

Is this good advice? I was just going to put a third 2B back there, but this idea may have some merit...thoughts?

Does anyone here have a center channel for a rear center?

A centre channel is a compromise, put a regular speaker back there. It is best not to use a centre for anything! Especially if you don't have to. The only reason companies make center channels is so people can stick them onto of TV's if you can live with it mounted on the wall or on the floor a regular speaker is always better.
