It looks legit to me. First off the seller has positive feedback of +500 which would be hard to come by for an operation that isn't legit. My only concern is that the product description sounds like it's intentionally vague. "Major Brand Name Hi-Precision Home Theater Center Channel" could literally refer to any speaker on the planet. The ad specifically says that the speaker is new but that's the only detail. The pictures are of a Sony speaker but a model number is not listed and Sony isn't typed anywhere in the ad. If you were to win the auction do you really know what you're going to get?

Why not just avoid it and look for an ad that you
can tell is legitimate? Besides, in the scheme of things,
who buys many Japanese speakers anyway when there are so
many excellent American and Canadian brands?

    ????

So we aren't allowed to help a member make an informed decision on a speaker? Gotcha.

The link isn't necessary to ask for help. Copy and paste a description of the item and mention the price and you'll get plenty of help.
