Center channel above or below screen? (1 Viewer)

My room is 20 x 20 and I have an Infocus sp4805 and my question is: should I put my Center Channel Speaker above or below my Viewing screen?
I am leaning towards below...But I do have the perfect area above, my room has 8ft ceilings also.

I put mine below on a stand.
I didn't have room for above because I'm using ceiling tiles.

My current setup is the CC on the TV. When I borrow the projector from work, the CC is down on the TV stand (TV moved out of the way). The new CC position is "below" the projected screen, about two and a half feet off the floor.

Notwithstanding the acoustic effect of the missing TV, the CC sounds much better to me when it is "below" the screen. Both CC positions are angled to the viewers' ears.

I'd say go with the below position first. If you don't like it, you can always move up.
