I just bought a digital camera, and read somewhere that you can create a VCD of your digital photographs using EZ CD Creator. Does anyone know if you can do this with either CD-R or CD-RW discs and the JVC XV-D723 player. If you can, how do you advance from picture to picture? Thanks.

This player just received an excellent review by Home Theater Magazine for playing progressive scan DVD's and DVD-Audio but unfortunatley the unit does not play CD-R discs. So if your main interest is in playing CD-R discs you will have to find another player. otherwise, if you own an HD TV this is the player to buy.

I already own the JVC. What about CD-RW discs?

    Doug,
The 723 is not listed as supporting CD-R or CD-RW. The newer models (65, 95, etc.) do support CD-R and CD-RW.

It will NOT play any consumer recorded media on standard discs. I have tested it. I have not tried silver layer CD-R's or CD-RW's. Would be cool if it did.
