    hi all -

i know this must be possible because a friend gave me an image file that i extracted to a cd using the "cd copier" part of easy cd creator.

however, i can't figure out how to reverse the process - taking a cd and creating an image file out of it. i checked all the apps and couldn't find any sort of option to create the image file.

    suggestions?

    thx,

    ted

    Ted,
You can use the tools in this package to create ISO images.
We actually use this at work, too.
    Hope this helps,
    -Christian

    ohh...thx christian.

i guess i didn't really understand what an ISO file is.

i thought the file that my friend gave me was *specific* to easy cd creator. maybe my system just matched the file to whatever available app was on my pc..in this case easy cd creator.

sounds like any of these types of apps (including nero, etc.) can open an iso file?

    i'll definitely check it out!

Easy CD should be able to create an ISO file. Check the documentation.
