I've will be getting a Denon DVD-910 DVD player and a Marantz 5400 receiver. For the best stereo cd-audio sound should I run through my coax digital, or a good pair of analog rca's?

I would try both as either could be the best. I am thinking the DAC's in the receiver would be better though.

I would think that as well, although I have no idea what D/A converter is in my receiver, but I do know it is a 192khz or whatever that is, but so is the DVD player. I'll hook up both and make the analog be my auxillary input.

With that combination, I'd use the receiver's DACs via coax, but you really won't know until you try it both ways.
