I have been hearing conflicting rumors on whether it will be widescreen or pan & scam. I know Lord of the Rings was suppose to be pan & scam, but it came out in widescreen. Does anyone have any new info? I want to get this, but only if it comes out in widescreen.

Hope that i am not wrong with this...the previous official release states that the upcoming DVD will not be widescreen.

Last I heard was Warner agreed to make it a dual disc with both on the same disc.

There was supposed to be an update by Josh Sabarra (sp?) at Warner when he returned from the Wonka DVD Event in New York on 4 September.
Maybe somebody should contact him?
I aint ordering until I find out the answer.

Phong did contact him, but Josh said he would not have a definate answer until later in the week. Phong said he would call him back at the end of the week. This was posted in the 8-page-long Wonka thread, on the 8th page.
