This is good news for those for those of us (HD enabled) who had to pass on the P/S DVD.

Why didn't you buy the widescreen DVD? [IMG]

Yeah, initially it was supposed to be P&S only but after The Wonka Disaster, a petition was made which I signed and followed up on by purchasing the Widescreen version of the movie.

He probably meant that rental stores only carry the P&S version.

Perhaps I'm missing something, but hasn't Cats & Dogs been on HBO for a few months now? I remember that it was one of the first movies that I watched when I got my HD cable box.

It does indeed look very good in HD.

Well, I guess that shows where I've been lately (somewhere else).

Definitely pick up the widescreen edition if you were slighted by the P&S edition. It's the only way there is to indicate interest.
