carver c-1000 receiver??? (1 Viewer)

anyone heard this receiver? any comments would be appreciated. no dealers in my area carry this unit.
need a ht receiver for the bedroom. wife wont allow seperates. thanks.

I posted this same question last week on AVS, and got zero response. You would think there would be a lot of interest in this receiver.

I have not demoed this unit and what I'm going to say is one insider's impression, so take it for what it's worth.
It was mentioned that the receiver is not up to the standards of the Carver name(before Bob Carver left Carver Corporation). If you know the backstory you'll know what I'm refering to.
Even though he bought back the Carver name that product was not developed on his watch, so to speak, and is not on the same level as Sunfire products would be.
