I'm looking for a car cover for an MR2 Spyder mostly for winter now that I no longer have use of a garage. I keep looking at those $100 pop up tents and think they're ugly so I want to get a car cover.

I've seen the "california car cover" but just wondering if anybody has any other suggestions on a good car cover for 4 season use. Mostly worried about snow and perhaps rain but in the summer, I tend not to use it. Snow would be problematic and ice so I would mostly use it in winter...

Ugly those tents maybe. But there are draw backs to covers, so I wont use them.
You dont want a cover to sit directly on the vehicle, they trap everything to the paint. They also mark paint up from removal and putting on no matter how dainty you are. They are no good at all outdoors, inside, maybe OK and I havent seen one yet live up to its, I'm not gonna hurt your paint etc yet.
