well my plan right now is to run my 12" boston subs off of my older aiwa reciever wired into my sony reciever, i figure if i run my sub output into like the cd input of the aiwa and then just wire the subs into the speaker outs (aiwa has a 4-8 ohm switch, so i think i will be ok) will this work ok? they will get 100 watts a piece so this should get them going pretty good.

yeah they are in a ported box, tuned to probably about 20 hz, so will these do just as good as a home theater sub? or at least pretty good, no just finding a place to put them :frowning:

Prolly not as good as an authentic HT sub, but they ARE subs, in a box, and they're amped.

Basically, that's a setup. Go for it and post what happens.

I am kinda curious. My buddy is griping about how he can't afford what I have (HT), yet he's swimming in car gear. He's got a 12V converter...hmmm...amp, sub, signal...
