Car Amp with Bass Shaker? (1 Viewer)

I will get 2 Aura bass shakers (the 25W RMS model) soon. I just wonder if anyone has experience using a car amp to power bass shakers? How do you connect the car amp to your home power outlet?

Actually I'm looking for a very cheap amp to power the bass shakers and found lots of used car amp with great price in eBay.

First, Welcome to the Forum!

You will need to get a 12v power supply from Radio Shack or an electronics hobby store. It plugs into the wall and has 12V output that you can connect the amp to.

The thing is, however, car amps require a lot of amperage to get their rated wattage. Whatever the fuse rating of your 25 watts per channel amp is, your power supply needs to be that amperage.
