Capturing the Friedmans -- Opinions? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone here seen this film? I did an HTF search on this and came up empty. I wanted to see it last summer when it was in the theaters, but never made it. It has just been released on DVD and I am wondering if it worth a buy -- it is a bit on the pricey side and I am
not sure how many repeated viewings it would garner. Still, it does look good. Any thoughts?

I did not have to read very far to be convinced that this is probably worth a buy from me -- picky tho' I am. There looks to be some very good extras included as well -- this is a two disk set.

According to today's NY Times, the DVD was submitted as an exhibit in support of Jesse Friedman's effort to have his conviction overturned.

why would they wait for the dvd to come out before this was submitted. i mean if it actually was relevant couldn't they have got an earlier print of it?
or jesse friedman's effort fairly recent?

oh, and the movie was good

Since the film's director is actively involved in the effort, I doubt they had to wait for the street date.
