Seriously tho she was awesome in Room but pretty much unmemorable in everything else.
I kid I kid! Please don't shoot me Patrick!
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World would disagree. Also Short Term 12.
Yeah, she's funny in Scott Pilgrim, 21 Jump Street, Trainwreck and a couple episodes of Community. Granted, that's all comedic stuff but Room showed her dramatic ability so I'm anxious to see what she'll do with this movie.
I think the reason I’m kinda down on Larson is her absolutely terrible-phone it in-performance in Kong Skull Island. Especially after her amazing performance in Room.
Look, I’m sure I’ll love her in both films but I can’t help not digging that trailer.
If you want to see another great dramatic performance, definitely check out Short Term 12. That movie is devastating.
Thor has reasons for showing a few aging lines:
Finding out that he had a sister who made Loki look like Mother Theresa.
Watching Odin die. (Peacefully, but still …)
Finding out that Odin bathed entire civilizations in blood.
Watching Asgard burn.
Watching Thanos slaughter half of the Asgardians who made it to the refugee ship.
Making the tactical error of not aiming a killing blow directly at Thanos's head. This allowed Thanos to use the Infinity Gauntlet to slaughter half of the Universe.
"Other than THAT, Thor Odinson, how did you like the play?"
The linked articles indicate that she was an Air Force officer. Her powers derive from being exposed to the accidental explosion of an alien device, or to genetic engineering by an alien race.
Powers include flight, superstrength, invulnerability, the ability to survive in space, and the ability to absorb and project energy. The energy manipulation powers may once have been "cosmic" level – something that might be useful against Thanos.
As far as other Marvel characters, there are more than you can shake a stick at. That is not counting the "big red cheese" whom DC used to call Captain Marvel, and now calls Shazam.
Don't forget he took the full force of a star while forging Stormbreaker. That's gotta take a few years off a god's life.
Yeah, all that sun is bad for the skin.
I liked Brie in Free Fire.
"Entertainment Tonight" behind the scenes look:
Mckenna Grace, who is playing young Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, went as Captain Marvel for Halloween:
Great young actress. Terrific in The Haunting Of Hill House on Netflix.
Disney has confirmed that Captain Marvel takes place in the year 1995:
I’m expecting at least one Spice Girls song or reference. Ziga-zig-ah!
Additional photography underway in Los Angeles
