I watched the movie this morning and enjoyed it. I liked the callbacks to the Incredible Hulk and the closure provided for the Ross characters. Likewise, having enjoyed the Isaiah Bradley storyline from Falcon and Winter Soldier, I appreciated seeing his character again. Seeing him put in prison was one of the more emotional scenes (kudos to Lumbly's performance). Even though the likelihood of Bradley being exonerated was obvious, it definitely provided a more sympathetic and personal cause to root for. The "am I good enough" theme may have seemed like a retread from F&WS, but it's one thing for him to acknowledge that he is good enough, and another to have it tested and have those doubts come back in the face of an outsized challenge. Finally, throughout the fight with the Red Hulked Ross, I couldn't help but muse over seeing one of our most iconic living actors (someone who has been in my movie going life since I was a child) turned into a raging red CGI monster. I hope Ford enjoyed that milestone for himself.

Also want to add that I appreciated how they incorporated Sam's previous role as a trauma counselor for veterans. That heart and compassion is what sets him apart from someone who just has the physical skills and at least a few times throughout the movie Sam leads with that instead of the alternative (I'm looking at you John Walker).

And Giancarlo Esposito is a scene stealer, as usual.
