Rich, I don't think the Rotel remote is bad, but I think the Home Theater Master 700 that comes with the B&K 500 is fantastic, the best remote I have ever used.
Re the Sunfire, I'm generally not a fan of Bob Carver's products. I still remember the "Sonic Holography" Carver stuff from years ago, and recall his claim that he can make his solid state amp sound like any mega-buck tube amp with some tweaking. I have listened to his amps in the past, and to the current Sunfire stuff. To each his own, and I'm sure there are some Sunfire & speaker combinations that sound fine to their owners, but it's not for me.
