Canon ofcourse, but G6 or SD500 (1 Viewer)

I want to buy a nice quality camera;
the sd500 seems very fit due to itz small size; but many users in here rate the G6 so well...
Please give me some idea to which I should go with

It's pretty simple. If you want best performance and/or plenty of room to grow between the two, get the G6. If you want something very pocketable primarily for simple snapshots, get the SD500.

There are other nice-to-great alternatives out there depending on specific needs/desires, but the ones you're looking at should be great for most folks considering them.
